My research interests lie broadly in macroeconomics, with a focus on firm dynamics, entrepreneurship, and the macro aspects of economic development. I often combine micro datasets with quantitative models, using micro data to inform mechanisms relevant to the aggregate economy.

Some of my recent research explores (i) the role of trade credit in reallocating resources from financially less constrained to more constrained firms, affecting aggregate economic fluctuations, (ii) how the interaction between heterogeneous labor supply and firm size shapes wage inequality in the presence of complementarity between worker hours in production, and (iii) how social norms around time allocation across genders contribute to the narrowing of the gender gap in entrepreneurship over the course of economic development, influencing the quality and quantity of businesses within an economy.
